Block print

The fabric is a linen-cotton blend. It is hand-block printed with wooden stamps and organic colours. The wood blocks are carved by hand, and so are the colours mixed. After printing, we cure the textile and it is hand-cut by our tailors, meticulously stitched and finished into the final garment you see here.

Handwash separately in cold water with mild soap. Dry in shade. Wash after 2-3 wears; air dry after every wear. Iron as needed.

The block printing process is done by hand in small batches, using natural resources and energy carefully, creating far less waste and pollution compared to conventional textile production. The printing pigments are certified organic and dyes used are AZO-free. They are safe for the makers, the wearer and the planet. By supporting these craft techniques, you are helping master artisans continue practising their traditions and pass on the knowledge.
