Hand Block Printing
We work with traditional block printing artisans who specialize in both pigment and discharge printing techniques. Using hand-carved wooden blocks, the artisans at Tharangini Studio print each design manually using GOTS certified organic dyes with precision and skill. Through these partnerships, we keep traditional skills alive while supporting sustainable production.
Handloom Weaving
We collaborate with handloom weaving communities skilled in handspun yarns and handwoven fabrics like khadi, organic cotton, linens and silk. They use pit looms or frame looms to execute complex intricate patterns. Each weave carries organic imperfections that reflect the hand of the artisan, making every fabric truly one of a kind.
Natural Dyeing
We collaborate with skilled natural dyeing communities who use traditional methods of colour making passed down through generations. These artisans work with plant-based materials like roots, leaves, flowers, and bark to create chemical-free, biodegradable colours. Our process promotes sustainable practices, and helps preserve the rich heritage of natural dyeing.
